Hello Kidology,
Hillsong Kids Big Curriculum gets released 8th December.
It's a 13 Week/Lesson curric that is a companion to our album Tell the World.
This is the first in a series (hopefully) of Curric. that we will be releasing over the coming years!
I was going to wait until the 8th to start this Topic, but because a number of people have been receiving their pre-orders already I thought I might start it up today to provide a place for feedback and questions.

Dave,
Just got mine today. So far LOVE IT! Are you guys thinking of doing more? I haven't gotten to deep into it yet but so far love the ability to really tailor the Bible Story to the kids. I also like how in-depth you go with the small group stuff, excellent. I love the week where you talk about communion and explain that to kids (Jesus Christ is not snack time!). We are going to time the curriculum so that week lands on Easter.
Dave great job again. Can't thank you and your team enough for all the effort you put in to help the church as a whole.

We would love to do another.
We are working on a curric that is a companion to our new kids album 'Follow You'
The cool thing is that 'Tell The World' is very evangelistic, and 'Follow You' will focus on discipleship... now I know HIM what do I do!
So if we go ahead and release it, it will be out in 2009!

Hey Dave,
I thought I ordered on November 22, but it hasn't gone through on my Credit card yet. I don't want to miss the intro price! I'm soooooooooo sad. Thought we would have it by now. Should I just reorder today? I also checked the order history and I didn't see it. I don't know what I did wrong...

Dave,
Bethany is a multi-campus church. We actually have two KidZone rooms at each campus. Do I need to purchase 4 sets at full price or can I order extra DVD's for each room?

Tim,
Once you purchase BIG you have the option of buying the 3 extra 'BIG PICTURE' DVD's for extra campuses/rooms etc.
So you spend $30 extra for each additional set per room.
Just contact Hillsong Music Australia at hillsongkidsbig@hillsong.com to order these!

HI,
Has anyone in the US ordered BIG? Ours was shipped Dec 18th and we haven't received yet. We start in February, and all our signage and flyers have come in, so we couldn't change dates w/o having to start all over (Expensive!). but I was wondering if this was normal shipping time from AUS or if I should pursue further?? I contacted Hillsong, but no reply as of yet. Also, does it come UPS? US Mail? Fed EX? Not sure where to start. Thanks

Mine came in the mail. Ordered it like a couple days before release and got it end of December. I would be thinking you'd get yours real soon.

Used it the first time last week and will use it again tonight. I love it, my teachers love it and my kids love it. Fits perfectly for what I was looking for.

We do a lesson in BIG about the Holy Spirit, but cover WHO the Holy Spirit is... ie. Focus on the fact that Jesus had to leave so He could send the HS... but that's not to say you can then use that as a springboard to teach your kids about baptism of HS.

Hey just wanted to let you know that i'm presently using the BIG curric and it's great! I started the Kid's church program here at my church from scratch and so i came up with a series called Basic Training. I've been using BIG to help me in this series. Thanks so much for putting this out!
Keep us updated as to when the next set comes out!

We are working hard on the next series right now that accompanies the "Folllow You" Album, it will be out this year (2009). Really looking forward to sharing it with Churches all over the earth!

Started using "BIG" as our summer Wed. night curriculum a couple weeks ago. Tonight we are on 1.3 in the God Loves You series. So far it has been great. We used a different video curriculum during the school year and this has been a great change of pace. The ministry time segment was great last week, the kids loved the activity sheets, and the leaders gave it a big thumbs-up.
I just wish there were more than 13 weeks available!

I need more info!
We use the music DVD's every week and on Wed nights we used the CD, they love One Way, they sing it at the top of their voices!
I am going to dig around the site a bit more, is there a BIG that goes with the two previous DVD's or is it just "Tell the World".

We have only created a Curriculum to accompany 'Tell The World' at this point. But have almost completed 'follow You' our latest Album. (Which will be available in 2009)
We are looking in the future to possibly create curric around our earlier albums!
