Really Fun Game for Children's Church! A "game show" style game, that would go along great with a teaching on friendship.
Teaching on Friendship? This is a FUN game for friends to get the topic introduced each week. It’s like to classic “dating game” – only for best friends at church to compete!
Each week, ask for two boys and two girls to raise their hands together as you need to select contestants that are friends to compete in the game show style competition. The audience participates by rooting for their team and trying to guess who will win each week.
The stage is set up with four chairs, two on each side of the stage and a sign that says “The Friend Factor.” Each child is asked two questions, one at a time and they write their answer on notecard which they turn in to the Emcee.
After which, their partner is blindfolded, is given three options as to which the answer may have been Only one of the answers is correct. The partner guesses at the correct answer and holds up the number of fingers (1, 2 or 3) relating to the number of the answer as the Emcee read them. If the answer is incorrect, the opposing team gets the opportunity to guess which of the other two answers left they think it is. Then the Emcee reveals the correct answer. If the friend was correct, 100 points are awarded. If not, and the opposing team was correct, they are awarded 50 points.
