Topic: Bible Sword Drills

Are you interested in learning how to do a Bible Sword Drill? Here are some clear instructions for how to effectively do a Bible Sword Drill in your children's ministry!

A Bible Sword Drill (or Bible Dash as Karl calls it in his DiscipleTown lessons) is a great way to introduce the topic of your lesson, show kids that the Bible has a lot to say on a topic, and help kids learn to navigate their Bibles more quickly through practice. Plus, they're simply a lot of fun!

NEEDED: A Bible for every child participating, verses planned out ahead of time that are on the topic of the day, and ideally, the references for the verses displayed on a screen or poster boards so the kids can see them and begin to look them up. If you call them out, do so clearly and repeatedly so they can have a chance to hear several times what they trying to find.
