A Question and Answer Time with the Kidologist.

Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20) What an EXCITING opportunity it is to baptize children! To see them pass from just getting saved, to really wanting to live a public Christian life!

I remember Laura, the first girl I had the privilege of baptizing… she was really serious about obeying Jesus and being baptized and becoming a member of the church. When her mom tried to encourage her to wait awhile (not sure if she was ready) Laura started to cry, so convicted was she of her need to take that next important step!

Then there was Devin - a young boy who at ten already felt called to be a preacher! After seeing him come to Christ at a Kid's Krusade at church, and then discipling him one on one for months - what a JOY it was to present him to the congregation and baptize him! I pray often for the kids I have baptized, because I believe that God has a special hand on their lives as they are seeking to follow Christ earnestly and seriously!
