Kidology Theorem #29 - Dealing with 'that' kid in the class. 

 

We’ve all had that experience where one kid ruins it for everyone else with a bad attitude or disrespectful behavior in front of the entire group. I learned a secret years ago that brought this experience to an end.

In college, I was hired as a “house magician” at a well-known downtown Chicago restaurant. I would travel table to table performing comedy, doing magic tricks, and making balloon animals for the children who were there with families. Most of the time it was both fun and easy to gain laughter and applause from a table full of guests. But every so often, there was that table where one kid ruined the experience for everyone.
