A Wise Leader SEEKS OUT Criticism!

Let’s be honest, we all like to be liked and we think we are right. If we didn’t, we’d change our mind, and we’d still think we’re right! So when someone either doesn’t like us, or thinks we are wrong, it stings. And our first reaction is to assume that there must be something wrong with THEM! When we were children, we found it easy to cry out, “You hurt my feelings!” As adults, we have to come up with much more sophisticated methods of saying the same thing, either to hide that reality from those who offended us, or perhaps from ourselves, unable to admit that often that is the primary offense. So how do we handle criticism from others?
