Draw the Bible - Turn Off the DVD Player

I spoke one week at Hartland Bible Camp in California. It was my first time there, but I really loved the experience. I wanted to post a few pics about one of my favorite teaching methods… Bible Story Drawing.

Besides drama, illusion, and some of my other usual techniques, for the actual Bible story segment, I simply illustrated the Bible Story by drawing it as I taught it. Since the drawing gots erased each day I took a picture to save my works of art for posterity!

Here they are, perhaps someone else might enjoy them… as you can see, my artist skills peaked around the second grade. As for the lesson content, I covered The Nine Virtues and taught the Bible Characters that displayed them. I’ve included four samples here:
