Make 'Em Laugh!

I remember one Sunday morning when I was tasked with introducing a movie clip from How to Train Your Dragon. The main character’s name is Hiccup, so as I came up front, I pretended to have hiccups and tried several ways to cure them. Finally, I asked the kids to all scare me on the count of three. They loved all screaming, “BOO!” as I pretended to be startled and acted like they had scared me half to death! I was cured! They were laughing and I had captured their attention for what I needed to share.
