Children’s ministry workers know they are making a life-long impact in the children they teach. The lessons you teach are forming the character and thought patterns of your students. They are learning about the Bible, growing in their love for Jesus, and getting practice at making godly decisions. But there is another way we impact the future of the kids we lead.

We all know how challenging recruiting adult volunteers can be, but I believe one reason is that we unknowingly train kids that church is a place you come and sit and watch instead of a place you come and serve.
