If you want to minister to kids, you must master winning over parents who visit your church!

Win the Parents, Reach the Kids!

Welcoming parents into your church for the first time is an opportunity to make a lasting impression. Perhaps you have heard the saying, “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.” As children’s ministry leaders, it’s our responsibility to ensure that parents feel comfortable and valued from the moment they step through the doors. By implementing simple yet effective strategies, we can create an environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages families to return week after week. Marketing experts will tell you that most guests have decided within the first fifteen minutes whether they will return to a church – that is before they have even experienced the worship style, heard the pastor preach, or heard their kids talk about how much fun they had! Those things have the potential to change a first impression, but the power of a first impression can be lasting.
