I like to consider my mom the original Preschool Professor. She was a master of teaching preschoolers, and I remember her telling me, “Karl, don’t underestimate our littlest learners – kids rise to the level we challenge them to.” That has always been a principle of my teaching. Whether I’m parsing the definition and meaning of Greek words in Kid’s Church or challenging preschoolers to know their Bibles, I have found it to be true. When we challenge children to learn – they rise to the occasion! 

That’s why I was so excited when Barbara Price, a professor of Christian Education, came to me with the concept for a Preschool Bible Curriculum. She had developed a system that used visual and audio cues for teaching non-readers an overview of the entire Bible!
