This object lesson uses a simple sauce packet and bottle of water and a scientific principle to teach the importance of choosing to obey God rather than to go your way.

Materials: A 2-liter soda bottle, several condiment packs (ketchup, mustard, duck sauce), water.

Setup: Beforehand, put the packets into a glass of water. Choose a couple that just barely float. The key will be the size of the air bubble inside the packet. Fill the bottle with water and put the cap on it and have it and the packets where you can easily get to them.
