This object lesson uses a balloon and a cup to illustrate how we can lift our problems to God.

Lift Your Problems

Materials: balloon, cup

Demonstration: Put the cup and balloon on the table. Ask the kids for help in picking up the cup without touching it with your hands.

For the demonstration, take the balloon and put most of it inside the cup. Blow up the balloon until it is firmly squeezed inside the cup. Then keeping the nozzle pinched tight, lift the balloon and when you do the cup comes with it.
